It was Cindy Crawford’s daughter Kaia who revealed details about her brother Presley’s final months and the words he left for everyone. 💔💔 Now, all the details, plus his last photo, have emerged after his death at 27. 🕊️

Rather than pretending everything was perfect simply because he came from a wealthy and famous family, he spoke publicly about mental health, depression, substance use and recovery.

In a 2025 Instagram video, Presley discussed those struggles candidly and explained that he hoped talking about his experiences might help other people feel less alone.

He acknowledged that his mental health difficulties had become “really bad.”

Presley also discussed his use of benzodiazepines and said the amount had fluctuated depending on what was happening in his life.

“The benzos have been fluctuating up and down depending on what’s been going on in my life,” he said.

He explained that he had recently experienced significant personal loss.

“Unfortunately, I’ve had a lot of loss in many different forms recently, so that is not an excuse, but it’s the reason why I am where I’m at now.”

He then admitted just how difficult it had become for him to judge his own situation.

“I don’t know if it’s a little bit or a lot, who f—ing knows at this point anymore.”

His willingness to speak publicly offered followers a glimpse beyond the photographs and famous surname.

Behind the modeling campaigns and red-carpet appearances was a young man attempting to navigate serious personal struggles.

Throughout those difficult periods, Crawford continued publicly showing her love for her son.

That is what makes one of her final  birthday messages to Presley particularly poignant now.

Presley turned 27 on July 2.

To celebrate, Crawford posted two throwback photographs of them together.

One captured a tender moment from Presley’s childhood, showing the young boy resting against his mother as they relaxed on a beach lounge chair.

Another showed mother and son having fun together while wearing colorful sunglasses.

The pictures reflected two different stages of their relationship.

Presley had grown from the little boy in his mother’s arms into an adult with a life and identity of his own.

But Crawford’s caption revealed that, in one important way, nothing had changed for her.

“Happy birthday [Presley],” she wrote.

“I’m so proud of the man you’ve become, but I’ll always see you as my little boy! Love you ❤️”
