Sir Tom Jones, the legendary “Bull from Wales,” first met Linda Trenchard when they were teenagers growing up in Pontypridd.

He never forgot their first meeting.

“I remember her playing marbles and I thought, ‘My God, what great legs she’s got.’ She was the best-looking girl around there and we got together. It was magic,” Jones recalled in an interview with Radio 2.

The couple married in 1957, when they were just 16 years old, only a month before their son Mark was born.
