On February 14, 2026, an X user named @djcows shared a hand-drawn pencil portrait of Elon Musk. Along with the drawing, the artist wrote, “i hope one day Elon sees my drawing.”

The post quickly attracted attention and went viral, eventually reaching more than 11 million views. Thousands of people saw the drawing, but the artist’s biggest hope was for Musk himself to notice it.

Then, it happened.

Musk did see the drawing. But instead of simply liking it or commenting on the artwork, he blocked the artist.

The unexpected response left @djcows confused. The artist reacted with a simple, deadpan “wtf,” capturing the strange turn the moment had taken.

But the story did not end there.
